QUALIFYING FOR NATIONALS

The 2026 USATF National Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships will take place on December 12 in Lafayette, LA. The top 30 individuals in each age division and top five scoring teams at the Region 2 Championships will qualify for the national championships.
Notes:

  • Individuals finishing in the top 30 places who are also members of qualifying teams are not displaced. Therefore, additional individual finishers beyond 30th place may not advance as a result of individuals ahead of them also qualifying as members of a team.
  • A team may advance if it has five or more individuals placing in the top 30 at the Regional Championships.
  • No team finishing beyond fifth place may advance solely because one or more of the first five qualifying teams chooses not to advance.
