Niagara Athletes Set to Compete Against the Best in the Country at Junior Olympic Nationals in Texas

The 2022 USATF National Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships will take place tomorrow (10-Dec) in College Station, TX. The competition is taking place on the Texas A&M Dale Watts Cross Country Course. A total of 2938 athletes are entered from across the country.  The top 25 finishers in each age division will earn all-American honors and recognition at the awards ceremony.

10 athletes from USATF Niagara are entered in the championships; eight of them will be representing Southern Tier SOAR.

The following Niagara athletes won association titles last month and should content for top 50 finishes in their divisions:
  • Molly Doran (9-10 Girls; Southern Tier SOAR)
  • Abigail Wagner (11-12 Girls; Southern Tier SOAR)
  • Trent Thibault (13-14 Boys; Unattached)​
