McLymond Inducted into USATF Officials Hall of Fame; Priestner Honored with Charles Ruter Award

, of Jamestown, were each honored by USATF during last night's USATF Officials Awards Banquet in Orlando. The event took place as part of USATF's Annual Meeting.
McLymond was formally inducted into the USATF Officials Hall of Fame for her long-time career and commitment as a USATF Official, including 24 years of dedicated service as a USATF Official and 31 years as a high school Official. The Officials Hall of Fame honors officials in the sport track and field, race walking, and long-distance running who through outstanding and dedicated service have performed at the highest level and contributed significantly locally, nationally, and, perhaps, internationally over an extended period. She has officiated four Olympic Trials and 36 USATF championships from the youth to elite levels. Additionally, she has officiated 23 collegiate national championship events and three world championships. She has received the Horace Crow Outstanding Field Events Award, the Andy Bakjian Award, two USATF Officials Outstanding Service Awards, and two USATF Officials Committee Chair Awards.
Priester was awarded the Charles Ruter Award which is presented annually to an outstanding running event official who has given of themself for years, across the country, at all levels of officiating in the various running event venues. The award is sponsored by the Kentucky Association.
