Entry fees will be refunded on or before December 31.

 

 

ELIGIBILITY

  • Current members of USATF Niagara will score in the championships.  Non-members and members of other USATF associations are welcome to compete but will not score in the Niagara championships.

Open Division – Limited athletes ages 14+ as of 1/9/2022.  No maximum age.

Masters Divisions - Age determined as of 1/9/2022.  Divisions shall be 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44........101-105.

Youth Division (ages 7-18) – Age determined as of 1/9/2022. Athletes must be at least 7 years of age as of 1/9/2022 to compete.

ENTRY FEES & DEADLINES:
On-Time Entries (on or before January 2 at 11:59 pm)

USATF members:  $15 (up to 3 events); +$5 for each additional event 

  1. Non-USATF members: $25 (up to 3 events); +$5 for each additional event 

Late Entries (January 3-7 11:59 pm)

USATF members:  $30 (up to 3 events); +$5 for each additional event 

  1. Non-USATF members: $40 (up to 3 events); +$5 for each additional event 

Event-Day entries: (January 9  8:30 - 9:45am; cash only)

USATF Members: $40 per event
Non-USATF Members: $50 per event

IMPLEMENTS and IMPLEMENT INSPECTION


Implements
All athletes are responsible for bringing their own legal implements (shot put and weight throw). The meet will not provide implements for use.

Implement Inspection
All implements must be insected before the competition begins.  Inspection begins at 8:45 a.m. All implements should meet the weight and measures standards and should be safe to use.

Athletes found using illegal implements after the inspection will be disqualified from the meet. Use of an implement that is altered is grounds for disqualification, even if it occurs during the warm-up period.



AWARDS
  • USATF Association Championship medals will be awarded to USATF Niagara Association members only. USATF members from other Associations and non-USATF members including Canadian citizens are welcome to compete as guests but will not be eligible for USATF medals.

FACILITY

Glazer Arena, a 130,000 square-foot facility, contains a track & field center with a 200-meter, six-lane track and throwing and jumping areas. It doubles as an indoor practice facility for lacrosse, field hockey, soccer, baseball, tennis, golf, softball and football. The arena, with capacity for 6,700, also serves as a venue for campus and community events. The field house contains athletic training and strength training facilities, a press box, athletics offices, team rooms and locker rooms.

Parking
Enter Ithaca College from the main entrance to campus on Rt 96B.  Upon entering the campus follow Alumni Circle around until you reach Grant Egbert Boulevard. Continue following Grant Egbert Boulevard until you reach Lyceum Drive.  Lyceum Drive will bring you behind the Athletics and Events Center, parking in Lot M.
