2. The hammer will not be contested at the Region 2 Championship. The athletes need to be registered to get passed along to the JO Championship if they want to compete in Sacramento.

3. Implements must be weighed in prior to the event day or by the start of the field events on the day of competition. *Implenents that pass weights and measures will be released to the athlete immediately. ** Implements that do NOT pass weights and measures will be impounded until the conclusion of that converse event. 

4. Tents will be permitted in designated areas only. 
  • The far stands are open to tent set up. 
  • Tents may be set up in the main grandstands in designated areas only. 
  • Tents are NOT to be set up in any portion of turn 2 behind the scoreboard, in the grassy area near the javelin, discus, or shot put areas (outside nor inside the gated track oval).
  • Tents are NOT to be set up to the side of the grandstands nearest the finish line (near the far long jump pit).
5. Parking in the upper parking lot is restricted to working officials, Slippery Rock personnel and approved placarded vehicles.  
  • Tent and equipment drop off is not permitted in the upper parking lot.
6. In the event of a weather emergency:
  • All competitors in active competition will follow the direction of the event official and enter the locker room space beneath the grandstands.
  • All spectators should clear the stands on both sides, return to your car/bus/van until the all clear is given.
