Representing the USATF Niagara Association on one of the nation's premier mountain running stages, Adam Pacheck delivered a strong performance at the 2026 USATF Uphill Mountain Running Championships on June 19. Pacheck, of Syracuse, covered the demanding course in 48:53 to finish 23rd against a talented national field.
The championship was contested as part of the prestigious Broken Arrow Ascent at Palisades Tahoe Ski Resort in Olympic Valley, California. The challenging uphill-only course climbed more than 2,800 feet over approximately 3.6 miles, testing athletes on steep ski slopes, technical terrain, and a dramatic ridge-line finish. The event also served as a selection race for Team USA's uphill mountain running squad.
