We are back to championship racing this weekend!!! The 2021 Niagara Runner of the Year Series (ROY) and Club Grand Prix both kick off Sunday with the USATF Niagara 4 Mile Championships in Cortland. The event is part of the Empire State Challenge 4 Mile. The entry deadline is this Wednesday (July 21). This year the ROY Series and Club Grand Prix will include five races. All five races are offering USATF Niagara members a $2-5 entry discount. On August 7 the USATF Niagara Mountain Running Championships will be held in Swain, NY in conjunction with the Swain Mountain Race. The on-time entry deadline is July 25. You will save $5 if you enter on or before this date. In September there will be two championship races. On September 3 the Niagara 5 km championships will be hosted by the Tom Donnelly Hall of Fame 5k in Buffalo. Then on September 26 the Niagara Half Marathon Trail Championships will take place in Victor as part of the Unlimited Breadsticks Trail Run. The season will conclude on November 7 with the Niagara Cross Country Championships in Canandaigua. The event is part of the Pete Glavin Cross Country Series.
