Niagara members recognized at 2024 USATF Annual Meeting in Orlando

News and notes from the 2024 USATF Annual Meeting in Orlando, Florida

AWARDS & RECOGNITION

• Perry Jenkins (Buffalo, NY) was presented with the President's Award from USATF president Vin Lannana. He also was the receipant of the Bill Quinlisk Service Award for Masters Cross Country Running. The award is named in honor of past USATF Niagara president Bill Quinlisk who passed away in 2022. 
• Chris Cummings (Victor, NY) was presented with the Chair Award by the Officials Committee.  The award recognizes individuals whose support to the Chair and the Committee reflect their dedication and leadership and who have significantly assisted in helping the Committee to reach its goals.

ELECTED TO SERVE 

• Perry Jenkins (Buffalo, NY) was elected as the chair of the USATF Masters Long Distance committee. He will also serve on the games committee at USATF Masters track & field and cross country championships
• Don Lawrence (Lockport, NY) was elected as the vice chair of the USATF Associations Committee and the vice chair of the USATF Race Walking Committee
