2019 USATF Niagara Club Grand Prix

SCHEDULE

SCORING/RULES

• Top 5 fastest Club Members (Open or Masters) will score as a team for the following championships (10 km and 5 km).  These team events along with XC will be weighted more in the grand prix scoring.
• Top 3 fastest Club Members (Open or Masters) will score as a team for the following Championships (1 mile track, Trail, Mountain, Half Marathon, Indoor 5km)
• XC Championships: Clubs will have to declare a team
• All scoring members must be a current 2019 USATF Niagara Member and their club affiliation must be attached to the club they will be scoring for prior to the event
• All clubs must be a current 2019 USATF Niagara Club
• If a club member leaves a certain club to join another club the “90 Day Rule is in effect where that member is not allowed to score for his or her new club in a USATF Association or National Championship for 90 Days”

• Races that score 5 runners
  1st 14pts, 2nd 9pts, 3rd 5pts, 4th 3pts, 5th 1pt

• Races that score 3 runners
  1st 6pts, 2nd 4pts, 3rd 3pts, 4th 2pts, 5th 1pts

• Only 1 team can score as a club (example if a club has an “A” and “B” team at the XC Championships only 1 of the teams will qualify for the Grand Prix scoring)
• Men & Women will score for clubs separately (no mix teams)
• Team Scoring will be based on accumulative time expect for XC which will be based on placing.
