ELIGIBILITY / SCORING / RULES
Eligibility
All scoring members on a club must be a current 2026 USATF Niagara Member, and their club affiliation must be attached to the club they will be scoring for prior to the event
All clubs must be a current 2026 USATF Niagara Club
At all races, the # of scorers will be: 5 (open men), 5 (open women), 5 (masters men), 5 (masters women)
SCORING RULES
At each championship event:
Clubs can score one (1) team per division.
Open team scoring will be based on the top five (5) runners accumulative time, except for XC, which will be based on XC scoring.
Masters teams will be based on the club's best five (5) age-graded performances.
Grand Prix points will be earned as follows - 1st place 14 points, 2nd place 9 pts., 3rd place 5 pts., 4th place 3 pts., 5th place 1 pt
YEAR-END GRAND PRIX SCORE
The club's best seven (7) scores will be combined to determine their year-end score.
Tiebreakers will be broken as follows (in order until the tie is broken):
1) head-to-head comparison.
2) the number of first places,
3) the number of championships a club participated in.
TEAM DECLARATIONS
At each championship, team declarations are NOT required, but if a Master runner wants to score on an open team, that must be indicated at least three (3) days prior to the event by contacting the LDR chair by

UNIFORMS
At each event, each scoring member for their club must have a clearly visible club affiliation logo on their racing apparel, which can include any of the following: singlet, t-shirt, shorts, headband, hat, or uniform in a team championship event.
Any athlete violating any of the association or national USATF rules will be subject to disqualification from the championship (team or individual). Such disqualification is not automatic but may occur upon protest. Protests must be made by

within 24 hours of the posted start time of the race.
