2021 Empire State Classic

The inaugural Empire State Classic (ESC) will be held on Sunday, July 25 at SUNY Cortland in Cortland, NY.  The ESC is a full scoring track & field meet (and 4 mile road race) between the four USATF Associations within the state of New York (Adirondack, Long Island, New York, and Niagara).  Each association will be able to enter three athletes in each event. 

Entry by qualification only

• ages 15 years-old and up.
• This is a scoring meet for both the men and women.

TEAM NIAGARA SELECTION INFORMATION

• Track & Field events - the top 3 men/women from the 2021 Niagara Association Open & Masters Track & Fiel Championships will be eligble for selection to Team Niagara.  Youth athletes 15-18 must qualify with Open implements/heights (i.e.- 16# shot, 2Kg discus, 42” HH). The same rule applies for Master athletes. IF a qualifying athlete elects not to participate in the Empire State Classic that spot will be offered to the #4, #5, etc. athlete until the spot is filled.
